Upper picture: Besides the reduction of water runoff, the green roof also enhances the visual appearance of the surface.

The substrate was transported to the roof via a telescopic conveyor belt (Telebelt).  

Most of the roof area was planted with pre-cultivated plant mats to achieve an immediate green effect. In the area around the technical installations different highergrowing grasses were planted.

Originally the roof area wasn't meant to be accessible by pedestrians but after modification benches were installed to enable employees to enjoy the view.
