Project Report: “Technoseum”, Mannheim, Germany

Upper picture: The freely accessible roof garden of the “Technoseum” in Mannheim in May 2011.

The roof area was divided into several zones and planted in different ways. Green beans, tomatoes and potatoes are thriving in one of the corners. Adjacent, there is a field of raspberries and strawberries.

Sunflowers, roses, perennials and dogwood, which has risen five meters high in the meanwhile, also found their place on the roof.

The gardener’s imagination knows almost no limitations, even pumpkins and zucchini develop excellently at the museum’s roof garden.
